Food Dehydrator

Unlike other dehydrators that were designed decades ago, this machine was newly designed and produced in 2006. It has a truly state-of-the-art computer controlled digital thermostat that is so accurate it can be adjusted in single degrees from 95 to 155 Fahrenheit. Unlike older machines, this dehydrator will never run up your electricity bill. It turns on only when necessary to maintain the temperature. The result is minimal usage of its 1,000 watt heating element.  With the heating element on the top, dripping foods can never infiltrate the motor. Air flows vertically with some exiting the sides of each tray bathing every layer in a constant stream of warm dry air that evaporates all moisture.

Add-a-Tray System

Can’t decide how much area will suit your drying needs? No problem! Each tray dries one square foot and you can stack up to 20 trays—that’s 20 square feet to suit even the largest user’s needs. Drying pressure from the quiet 2,400RPM 4.5 inch fan adjusts automatically to the number of trays. Each Add-a-Tray box contains 2 trays. The basic 4 tray unit weighs 10 lbs and is 16.5 x 16 x 11 inches. 1,000 watts, 120volts, 60hz.

Flexible screens that allow easy drying of small items such as sticky dried fruit like banana chips, herbs, spices, potpourri, etc. The lattice-like surface allow you to bend the screen and pop off the sticky fruit without scraping. Saves hours of clean up time.
