ULTRA FILTER REPLACEMENT
FOR WATER IONIZER MODEL 600
$79.00

Similar to the standard replacement filter except this filter has two stages of cleaning and screens pollutants down to 0.01 micron. At this submicron level even a red blood cell cannot make it through! Choose this filter when you want the maximum water purification benefit prior to alkalization. Keep in mind, the flow rate of your water will be slower than that of the standard filter. Order this replacement filter once or twice per year depending on the size of your family. Once per year for 1-2 people. Twice per year for 3 or more people. Rated 1000 gallons. A clean filter means safer drinking water!

Activated carbon filters remove/reduce many volatile organic chemicals (VOC), pesticides and herbicides, as well as chlorine, benzene, trihalomethane (THM) compounds, radon, solvents and hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water. Some activated carbon filters are moderately effective at removing some, but not all, heavy metals. In addition, densely compacted carbon block filters mechanically remove particles such as Giardia and Cryptosporidium, turbidity and particulates. Although some iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide will be removed by these higher quality activated carbon filters, a manganese green-sand iron reduction filter is generally preferred to remove these contaminants as the effectiveness of carbon filter against iron and manganese is generally short-lived if the contaminant concentration is high.

• Activated Carbon Filament most effective removal of organic compounds including VOCs, radon, and chlorine (including cancer-causing by-product trihalomethanes)

• Extremely cost effective

Carbon Filtration Effectively Removes:

• Bacteria/Viruses

• Bad taste/Odors Chlorine

• Hydrogen Sulfide Lead

• Radon

• Sediment

•      VOC's
